Shipping + Returns

Each and every piece of Thicket jewelry is carefully made by hand in Thicket's studio and production can sometimes take 1-2 weeks before your order is ready to ship. Orders are shipped via USPS and you will receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

If you choose the Expedited option during checkout production for your order will be completed within three business days and your order will ship via USPS Priority.

If you have a specific timeline feel free to reach out before placing your order! We can do our best to meet your goal in our production window but with the sporadic delays in USPS shipments we can't currently guarantee delivery dates.

We'd be happy to! When you check out you'll see an Order Notes field - just say you'd like your pieces gift wrapped (and include a gift message too if you'd like)! We gift wrap using kraft paper and string and add a sprig of greenery whenever we have it available.

Thicket ships to the United States, Canada, Mexico and more than 100 other countries through the United States Postal Service.

We want you to love your Thicket jewelry! We offer free returns or exchanges on orders purchased directly from Thicket within 30 days of purchase. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method. Thicket offers free return shipping for store credit and exchanges, the cost of return shipping for refunds will be deducted from the refund. Please note that we're unable to offer returns on custom work and gift cards.

If you would like to return or exchange something send an email to rebecca@shopthicket.com and include your order number to start the process.

Jewelry Care

Thicket jewelry is meant to be worn and loved but all fine jewelry requires proper care and some basic precautions!

It's always advisable to remove jewelry before exercising, swimming in chlorine or salt water, and using harsh chemicals such as cleaning solutions. If you use your hands for work or for other pursuits like gardening or cooking, it's also a good idea to remove rings and bracelets during those activities.

Fine jewelry does best when stored in an enclosed box or pouch. Sterling silver will tarnish when left in the open air, especially when it's humid. Tarnish can be removed with a polishing cloth but careful storage and regular wear can prevent the need.

You can clean your jewelry at home with a soft jewelry cloth or with a gentle soap and a soft toothbrush. If your piece includes oxidized sterling silver avoid vigorous polishing to preserve the darkened finish.

Thicket will also clean, re-oxidize and/or repair your Thicket jewelry at any point in its lifetime (which will be long!). Send an email to rebecca@shopthicket.com if you have a piece in need of some love.

Yes! Check out our Jewelry Care page.

Thicket pieces are carefully crafted to stand the test of time and lots of wear. However, if you do ever have a mishap involving your jewelry Thicket will repair it free of charge! Keep any separated pieces together and then send an email rebecca@shopthicket.com to make arrangements for repairs.

About the Studio

The pieces in Thicket's collection are made nearly exclusively with recycled fine metals. Mining for gold is highly destructive to the environment and dangerous for miners and surrounding communities. By working with recycled fine metals Thicket avoids buying newly mined gold.

There are a few small findings (such as 14k gold clasps) that we are still working on sourcing a recycled alternative and that keep us from saying Thicket is made exclusively with recycled fine metals. We hope to be able to soon!

We work with our refiner to recycle unwanted fine metal pieces to do what we can to minimize new mining. In exchange, we'll send you a code for 15% off your next purchase on Thicket's site. You can find out the full details here!

Check out our Events page for upcoming shows and take a look at our Stockists page to see if a shop near you carries Thicket's collection.

For everyone's safety studio visits are currently unavailable.

Absolutely! Thicket can work with you to create a custom cast piece using a natural object meaningful to you. We also create custom bands for ceremonies. See more on our Custom Work page.
